    Special Session on Wireless Technologies for High-Speed Video/Audio/Gaming Entertainment Networks

Consumer Electronics (CE) market will keep proliferating in the near future due to dramatically increased demand of digital multimedia information systems at home environments. High-quality multimedia applications such as HD video content distribution, HF audio home theater, and real-time networked gaming require high network throughput and strict QoS support.  Various new wireless networks such as WMAN/WLAN/WPAN will become the main communication structures in households worldwide. However, it is still a big challenging to enable wireless networks for high rate video/audio/gaming entertainment applications such as uncompressed HD video streaming.  In this special session we plan to discuss the following aspects:

●Advanced wireless network infrastructure model at home environment to support high-speed multimedia applications.
●End-to-End QoS (reliability, jitter, etc.) support for high-rate wireless multimedia applications.ى
●Reliable broadcast/Multicast wireless technologies for multimedia applications.
●Security and content protection support for wireless multimedia applications.
●New wireless technologies for GBps video applications such as uncompressed HD video streaming.ى
●Performance evaluation of new wireless standards for high-quality entertainment environments. Standard examples are IEEE 802.15.3c, 802.11n, 802.16e, etc.

Submission Instructions
Authors are invited to submit regular technical papers or position papers. The position papers should present novel technologies at an early stage of development or share future vision. All submissions should describe original, previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal. Manuscripts should not exceed five (5) pages in double-column IEEE format. Please submit the paper through
